An overview of digital signage basics

01

Screens

A screen is a display managed in your Screenly account, via Screenly Anywhere in a browser or a dedicated Screenly Player. After you log in, you can add one or many screens in a few clicks.

From your account you can also check that each screen is healthy and online.

02

Group Labels

Group labels let you organize related screens and update many of them at once. Add or remove labels anytime.

Note: “All Screens” is the default group label and can’t be removed.

03

Content

Content is the media on your signs: web pages, images, and videos.

Upload, edit, and remove listings from your account. Screenly plays content in 1080p Full HD.

04

Playlists

Playlists are sequenced lists of content. Set titles, dates, labels, and which assets play.

Note: Content in the default “Play on All Screens” playlist plays on every screen automatically.

Display your best content with Screenly digital signs.
